Helmy Toulan

Toulan will replace Khaled Galal who parted-ways with the club on Thursday morning following the team’s recent poor results in the Egyptian league.

NBE who lost 2-3 to Enppi on Wednesday are eighth in the league table with five points from five games.

Galal who took charge of NBE club in February 2021 is the third coach to lose his post in the Egyptian league so far, after Alaa Abdel-Al of Talae El-Gaish and Rabie Yassin of Aswan.

Toulan, 73 is one of the most experienced coaches in the league, with multiple stints managing Cairo giants Zamalek in the past.

He also has experiences with many Egyptian league clubs such as Enppi, Harras El-Hodoud, Ittihad of Alexandria and Smouha.

Toulan will start his mission with the team on Tuesday when they face Masry at Alexandria's Borg El-Arab staduim.
