The committee also decided to form a sub-committee made up of members from the constitutional and legislative, human rights, and national security committees, as well as lawyers and law professors, to revise the bill and amend it if necessary.
Head of legislative committee MP Ibrahim El-Henedy stated at the meeting on Sunday that the bill is important considering its direct connection with the rights and freedoms of citizens and their impact on the Egyptian state, whether locally or internationally.
