El-Sisi reviewed Egypt's efforts in various fields, advising them on how to assess situations correctly, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.

The president was accompanied by Minister of Defence and Military Production Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Osama Askar, who inspected the students’ training areas.

El-Sisi watched the cadets perform their daily exercises and military rehabilitation activities, which are implemented according to the latest advanced systems, Rady said.

The president advised the students to maintain their high level of physical fitness and mental readiness and to show the noble military values the Egyptian Armed Forces have been always characterised with.

El-Sisi also met with the families of a number of new students at the academy, expressing appreciation for their efforts to raise their sons on the well-established values and love of the homeland.

The president has visited the military and police academies frequently. The most recent visit took place in December, where he witnessed tests for candidates applying to join military colleges at the headquarters of the Military Academy.
