Spain's economic slump deepened in the second quarter of 2012 as consumers cut back spending, the bank of Spain said Monday.
Gross domestic product shrank 0.4 per cent in the second quarter from the previous three months, after contracting 0.3 per cent in the first, the cental bank said in its latest monthly bulletin.
