Egyptian bourse gains EGP 3.2 bln, all indexes up

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes went up collectively at the close of Sunday's trading, pushed by selective purchases from local institutions and investment funds, as well as Arab individuals.

The market capital gained about EGP 3.2 billion to close at EGP 1.56 trillion, amid transactions that totalled EGP 3.8 billion.

The EGX 30 benchmark index was up by 0.33 percent, registering 16,118.85 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.54 percent to record 3,014.11 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 0.67 percent, closing at 4,489.79 points.
