The 28-year old winger - who joined the Turkish Champions in summer 2022 - came off the bench in the 61st minute to stuck home the fourth, three minutes later.

Yusuf Yazici, 33, Marc Bartra 49, and Tasos Bakasetas, 51, scored Trabzonspor’s early goals.

Trezeguet ended his goal drought as his latest goal was against Fenerbahce 2-0 on 24 December.

A poor run that cost him his place in the starting eleven for the first time this season.

This is his sixth goal in 18 league games with Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor have now jumped to fifth in the Turkish table with 35 points, 10 behind leaders Galatasaray.
