Sun 29, 8pm: The Arab Music Heritage Ensemble in a repertoire of classical Arab songs.

Tues 31, 7pm: Harmonic violin and energetic cello tunes accompanied by playful oud sounds - five musicians will take you on a journey through classical music with elements by the queen of Arabic instruments: the oud. Cross-cultural quintet, led by the Austrian violinist Marianne Brandstettner will feature Laura Virtanen (violin), Rasha Yehia (viola), Shady Hanna (cello), and Khaled Kamel (oud).
String quartet: Haydn Streichquartett in d Moll op.76 No.2 "Quinten", Mozart Divertimento in D - Dur KV 136, Anton von Webern Slow Movement. String quartet and oud: Schön Rosmarin - Fritz Kreisler, Am Ahmed - Omar Khairat, Abdel-Qader - Omar Khairat, variations on an old Egyptian folk song Bafta Hindi - Wael Sedky.

Beit Al-Seheimi Al-Muaaz St, Al-Darb Al-Asfar Alley, Al-Gamalya District, Tel 02 2787 8865 Every Sunday, 7pm: The Nile Troupe for Folk Instruments, conducted by Abdel-Rahman Al-Shafaai, performs dances and songs from Upper Egypt on mizmar, tabla and other traditional musical instruments. Every Friday, 7pm: “Al-Aragouz wa Khayal Al-Zel” (The Shadow Puppet), a free public performance by clowns in Al-Muaaz Street, presented by Wamda and directed by Nabil Bahgat.

Thurs 26 and Fri 27, 8pm: Balletto di Milano ballet company (Italy), artistically directed by Carlo Pesta, performs Carmen and Tango ballets.
Sat 28, 8pm: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Ahmed El-Saedi will present “Great Symphonies VI” concert featuring flautist Mina Ghobrial and harpist Anais Gaudemard. The repertoire will include compositions by Brahms, Mozart and Rachmaninov.      
Thurs 2, 8pm: The Abdel-Halim Noweira Arab Music ensemble in a repertoire of classical Arab songs.

Sat 28, 9pm: Acoustic duo Nadin Al-Khalidi and Tarek Abdel-Qawi
is formed overseas by the Sweden based-Iraqi/Egyptian vocalist Nadin Al Khalidi and Egyptian guitarist Tarek Abdel-Qawi. The duo’s stripped-down compositions are lined with storytelling, and are often inspired by traditional Iraqi tunes, performed here in this concert on Algerian mandole, acoustic and electric guitar.

will perform Rageh Dawoud’s dramatical works, with the participation of flautist Ines Abdel-Daim.  
Thurs 2, 7pm (Free entry): A concert of Italian music by Erasmus Orchestra, conducted by maestro Elio Orciuolo, composed of young European musicians and young Egyptian soloists and musicians such as violinist Mariam Abou-Zahra.
