The BA’s Arts School Midyear Programme started from
Sat 21 January to Thurs 9 February targeting the age from 4 to 16 years. The programme includes interactive workshops, scientific theatrical performances and competitions at the Arts School Premises, Villa Roushdy. Registration is through the website: www.bibalex.org/artsschool
Sun 29 January- Thurs 9 February: BA’s Taha Hussein Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired, in cooperation with the German Hans Seidel Foundation, offers a mid-year programme for blind and visually impaired children aging between 5 to 20 years. The programme includes many workshops designed to suit the needs of this particular group, which aims to integrate them into the society, enhance their artistic and cultural skills and raise their awareness through the rehabilitation of their physical and mental care and other daily lifestyle concerns as well. There are cultural workshops such as clay sculpting, hieroglyphic learning, astronomy, and personality styles workshops. In addition to awareness lectures for parents and other technical workshops. Specialized trainers provide these activities with the assistance of the staff of the Taha Hussein Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
