“Ferreira’s foreign assistant coaches who sowed mistrust between the Portuguese coach and Nabih will not return to the team with him," Mansour told Zamalek’s TV channel early on Thursday.
Last week, Mansour announced that Zamalek parted-ways with the 67-year-old Portuguese coach after a string of draws and losses in the Egyptian Premier League and exit from Egypt Cup.
In late January, Mansour appointed Ossama Nabih, who was dismissed by Ferreira as assistant coach earlier in January over reported disagreements, as caretaker coach.
Nabih, 48, led Zamalek to taste their first victory in 2023, beating Future FC 2-1 in late January.
"I hope the brilliant relationship between the two coaches returns again,” Mansour added.
The Portuguese tactician, who starts a third stint with the White Knights technically, helped Zamalek win the Egyptian Premier League championship three times in 2014 and 2021 in addition to two Egypt Cup titles.
The league holders start their African Championship campaign on 10 February against the Algerian side CR Belouzidad.
In the league table, Zamalek are now fourth with 29 points, 8 points behind leaders and archrivals Ahly.
They are scheduled to face Pharco FC in the 17th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League on Monday.
