Facing Real Madrid is a dream come true, says Ahly's Dieng

Ahly's Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng said on Sunday he is delighted with the Red Devils win over Seattle Sounders that opened the door for his side to set a historic meeting with European Champions Real Madrid, stressing that the game is a dream come true.

The Cairo giants will face Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals in the Moroccan capital Rabat on Wednesday.

“Of course, we are really happy, Firstly we are happy to have qualified. We really wanted it,” Dieng told the FIFA official website on Sunday.  

“Now we are going to play against the European champions. It will be a dream match.”

“If you had told us you will play against Real Madrid. We would have said no you are crazy”

“I have to say it is a dream come true.”  

The international midfielder added that there is no pressure on his side for the Wednesday clash, stressing they will play the way they are used to.  

“We are going to enjoy the top level. We will see what happens.”

We will learn and we will see what happens,” he concluded.
