The exhibition, which opened on 16 February, features Warhol’s famous paintings and prints, including many of his depictions of Hollywood celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Muhammad Ali and Dolly Parton.

The exhibition also includes a wallpaper designed by the artist titled Silver Clouds, as well as archival photography showcasing Warhol's experimentation with photos and polaroid portraits.

The exhibition was organised in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and curated by the museum’s director Patrick Moore.

This is the first Arab collaboration with The Andy Warhol Museum.

The show has been designed to fit in the famous mirrored Maraya hall, the award-winning largest mirrored building ever constructed. Maraya's mirror walls blend with the captivating nature of AlUla, one of Saudi Arabia's major sites for cultural activities.

The exhibition inaugurated the AlUla Arts Festival, which was launched on 16 February.
