Released just a day prior to Valentine's day (13 February) by Vodafone Egypt, the song placed Amr Diab on top of Anghami charts again.

The song topped the lists of the most listened to track in Egypt, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Libya, Yemen, Palestine, Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and Iraq.

Over a week after its release, the song scored 1.1 million streems on Anghami and has 1.5 million views on Vodafone Egypt - Music YouTube channel. 

Btamen Alek (I'm checking on you)'s lyrics address a dear person who is far from the singer. "I'm just checking on you. I don't want anything except that you reply. Are you ok? Do you need anything?"

The song is written and composed by Aziz El-Shafei, arranged by Ahmed Ibrahim, with mix and mastering by Amir Mahrous.

This success comes shortly after the Egyptian pop star topped the 2022 most-listened artists in the Arab world, with 1.3 billion total streams of his songs.

With over 30 albums and a huge collection of regional and international trophies and awards, El-Hadaba, as he's nicknamed by fans and on street billboards, kept his wide fan base growing throughout his four-decade career, transcending generations each season.
