Egypt's Ahmed Awad was eliminated from the round of 16 in the Judo contest after losing to Azerbaijan's Tarlan Karimov (002-0002) on Sunday.
Awad defeated UAE's Humaid Alderei (101 - 0001) in the elimination round of 32 also on Sunday.
