In cooperation with CLEG art gallery, Capital Promenade is holding Capital Art at Capital Business Park in El-Sheikh Zayed city from 10 to 12 March.
“We are proudly launching the first round of Capital Art to highlight the key role played by art in addressing the climate change. Eyeing Egypt Vision 2030 and advocating the UN's SDGs, Capital Art exhibition embraces a number of masterpieces that are exquisitely made of recycled material to educate the public on preserving the environment," artist and CLEG gallery co-founder Dina Fahmy stated during a press conference on Sunday.
The artworks displayed at Capital Art range from paintings, sculptures, prints, mixed-media, photography as well as artworks made of recycled and environment-friendly materials.
Participating artists include Omar El-Nagdi, Salah Taher, Adham Wanly, Seif Wanly, Abdel-Aziz Darwish, Sabry Ragheb, Kamel Mustafa, and Ragheb Ayad.
Hesham Abdel-Moaty, Khaled El-Samahy, and Deena Fadel will enrich the senses of Capital Art's visitors by sharing their artistic experiences.
The exhibition will feature art-related talks, workshops tailored for children and adults, along with live sketching performances.
Inaugurated in January 2020, CLEG art gallery pledges to become a hub for contemporary arts, playing a vital role in Egypt's artistic landscape.
CLEG, which stands for 'Colours of Egypt', is a touring exhibition that was co-founded by visual artists Dina Fahmy, Farida Darwish, Farida El-Kouni, and Rasha Ghaleb.
The co-founders toured different countries with the exhibition, including France, Italy, Germany, and the UAE, to promote modern Egyptian art through their paintings.
