The Phraohs skipper arrived at the camp early on Tuesday morning and is expected to participate in the team's second training session this evening.
Ahmed Hegazi, who plays for Saudi side Ittihad Jeddah, also joined the national team while Emam Ashour of FC Midtjylland is expected to arrive later in the day.
Pyramids FC players Ahmed El-Shennawy, Osama Galal, Ali Gabr, Mohamed Hamdy and Mostafa Fathi joined the national team camp on Monday evening.
The two matches against Malawi will take place at Cairo International Stadium on 24 March, followed by a match on 28 March at the Bingu National Stadium in the nation's capital of Lilongwe. The team, led by Rui Vitória, is hoping to secure two victories against Malawi and improve their chances of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Egypt is currently third in Group D with three points, along with Ethiopia, Guinea and Malawi. The team won their first match against Guinea 1-0 on 5 June but suffered a setback in their second match against Ethiopia, losing 2-0.
