Egypt's Ministry of Youth and Sports announced on Tuesday that the fourth edition of Gamal Abdel-Nasser's Fellowship for International Leadership will be launched in June under the auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.

The next round will be held under the theme Non-Aligned Youth and South-South Cooperation, and will focus on transferring the Egyptian experience in building institutions.

Nasser's Fellowship previously organised virtual training to introduce participants to the concepts of leadership and authority in large companies and leadership transformation.

During its previous edition, the fellowship expanded to include friendly countries and sought to enhance the role of youth in reviving the principles of non-alignment and activating cooperation between the global south.

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a forum of 120 world states that are not aligned with or against any major power bloc.

In April 1955, representatives from 29 governments of Asian and African nations gathered in Bandung, Indonesia, to discuss peace and the role of the Third World in the Cold War, economic development, and decolonisation.

The fellowship has received international praise for achieving sustainability through investing in youth, based on its Development Agenda 2030.
