Ahmed Hegazi and Ittihad Jeddah aim for victory in Saudi League title race
In a recent interview with "SSC" channels, Hegazi elaborated on the lessons learned from the previous season when Ittihad Jeddah fell short of the championship in the closing stages.
"We have improved this season, building on our experiences from last year," Hegazi stated. "We're hopeful that our progress will lead to us securing the title."
As the team embarks on the next phase following the break, Hegazi stressed the necessity of maintaining focus. He said, "Our approach to the new phase is marked by unwavering concentration so that we can deliver cohesive defensive and offensive performances."
Hegazi also praised the collective efforts of the coaching staff and players. He remarked, "The entire team, including the coaching staff and players, contributes to our success. We diligently prepare for each match, and this commitment is reflected in our pursuit of victory. Our objective is to keep striving for triumphs and ultimately claim the title."
The defender's comments are supported by Ittihad Jeddah's recent results on the field. Hegazi netted a pivotal goal that helped his team clinch a significant win over Damak. The 3-0 victory allowed Ittihad Jeddah to maintain their position at the summit of the Saudi League standings.
