Egypt will be represented by the Egyptian film Kaf Al-Amar (The Palm of the Moon) at the second edition of Jordan's Arab Film Festival, which will run from 5 to 9 August.
Written by Nasser Abdel-Rahman and directed by Khaled Youssef, the film tells the story of Amar (Wafaa Amer), who, following the death of her husband, imparts to her five children their father’s dream of building a brick house.
Kaf Al-Amar received the Media Award at the 2011 Alexandria International Film Festival.

The film will be screened at Jordan's Royal Film Commission, located at Amman's 1st Circle, Jabal Amman: 5 Omar Bin Al-Khattab St. (off Rainbow St).
