During the post-match press conference, Osorio expressed his optimism about the junior players in his team and believed that they would eventually develop into a competitive team alongside the veteran players.

"I'm very happy and optimistic about the juniors, and over time we will succeed in producing a competitive team," Osorio told reporters.

The Colombian coach singled out veteran player Mahmoud "Shikabala" Abdelrazik for praise, noting his performance in a central midfield role.

"Shikabala surprised me with his good performance in the position I put him in, and he was transferring the team beautifully from defence to attack," Osorio said.

"Shikabala played a wonderful match as a veteran player, along with Mahmoud 'El-Wench' Hamdy."

Osorio added that he thought Ceramica Cleopatra "deserved to score at least one goal in the match,” Osorio said and continued "We played against a good team, but Zamalek's superior chances meant we deserved the victory.”

Regarding the four substitutions he made during halftime, Osorio explained that he wanted to give more playing time to a larger number of players, rather than relying on a few players during the last 10 minutes of the game.

"I did not fear injuries or otherwise, and I know what I do, and the push of Mohammad Tarek was because Ceramica Cleopatra started to attack, and we implemented what we want," Osorio concluded.

With this win, Zamalek moved up to fourth place in the league table, with 43 points out of 25 matches, six points behind second-placed Future, who played the same number of matches.
