Egypt’s FA spokesman Azmi Megehad has denied all reports suggesting the Pharaohs’ coach Bob Bradley will be sacked confirming that the latter will remain at his post till the end of his contract in 2014.
“The Egyptian football interim board has no intention to fire Bob Bradley from his post,” Azmi Megahed told Ahram Online on Thursday.
‘’EFA interim president Essam Abdel-Moneam renewed confidence in the technical staff in order to give stability for the Pharaohs in their campaign in the World Cup qualifications.’’ He added
The American coach came under fire after he failed to guide the Pharaohs to the next year African Cup of Nation following to a 4-3 aggregate loss to Central Africa.
Despite failure in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Pharaohs made a good start in the World Cup qualifiers after two successive wins against Mozambique and Guinea.
Egypt are leading group G with six points.
