Trabzonspor's Egyptian winger Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan told the press that he was entirely focusing on scoring goals for the club, insisting that he had no idea what the future holds.

Trezeguet's statements came after his team defeated Fatih Karagumruk  4-1  on Monday in the Turkish Super League

"First of all, thank God we got 3 points. I'm so happy to score goals. All I think about is getting ready for the next match," he said.

The Egyptian winger scored twice in the win, taking his tally for the season to 12 goals.

Trezeguet spoke, too, about his future at Trabzonspor amidst rumours that he was leaving the club for others in the Gulf countries. He insisted, however, that he focused only on the present.

"I am a player for Trabzonspor, and I continue to be here. When I am in the field, I focus on nothing but winning. I'm happy here, too. I'm here until the end of the season, and I do not have the slightest idea about the future," Trezeguet added.

Trezeguet also spoke about the incident in the Fenerbahçe match. During that match, Fenerbahçe player, Samet Akaydin, spat on him while he celebrated the goal with prostration.

"I'm very sorry about what happened. I didn't actually see the incident. I was lucky not to see it. I felt bad when I saw the video. But I do not wish to say anything more about the incident," the 28-year-old Egyptian international said

Trezeguet has been a key player for Trabzonspor this season. He has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 39 appearances across all competitions. Trabzonspor currently sits in sixth place in the league table, 28 points behind leaders Galatasaray.
