Tawadros was born in Egypt in 1983, and moved to Australia in 1986. Inspired by Egyptian greats like Sayed Darwish, Tawadros has taken the oud – the popular Middle Eastern instrument – and created an eclectic style with his brilliant technique and unique performances. Tawadros is bringing his blend of ancient and modern musical styles to Cairo. The Egyptian audience can look forward to an engaging performance of Tawadros’ innovative, original repertoire. He is a prolific musician, having released 15 albums since 2007. He has worked with orchestras around the world, recorded music with legendary artists across jazz and classical genres, and featured in films and television shows.
