The band is gearing up for an epic tour that will span from 1 June to 16 October, encompassing a total of 40 concerts.
The Abu Dhabi concert will be followed by shows in Israel before the band embarks on the tour’s European leg. The band will rock cities such as Madrid and Vico in Spain, Dessel in Belgium, Copenhagen in Denmark and many more. The final stretch of the tour will be in North America, where the band will thrill audiences in 22 cities across the United States and Canada, concluding their journey in Vancouver on 16 October.
In Abu Dhabi, the band will take the stage at the prestigious Etihad Arena, the largest indoor multi-purpose venue in the UAE, with a seating capacity of over 20,000.
The concert will open with performances from Girish and the Chronicles (also known as GATC), an Indian rock band from Gangtok, India.
The highly anticipated event is already sold out, with only three percent of tickets remaining available almost a week prior to the show.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1985, the line-up of Guns N' Roses has changed over the years. Their current line-up consists of Rose, Slash, McKagan, guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer and keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese.
The band rose to fame with the release of their first album Appetite for Destruction (1987), which included hits such as Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City and Sweet Child o' Mine. Their second album, G N' R Lies (1988), was slightly less successful, but their third album, Use Your Illusion I and II (1991), rocketed the band to the peak of their popularity. The latter albums boasted songs such as You Could Be Mine, covers of Live and Let Die and Knockin' on Heaven's Door, and a trilogy of ballads Don't Cry, November Rain, and Estranged.
The band also released The Spaghetti Incident? (1993) and Chinese Democracy (2008).
Despite the passing years, the band members have remained active performers. The bands extensive two-year We're F'N' Back! Tour (2021–2023) covered hundreds of concerts across several continents.
