Egypt coach Bob Bradley revealed Saturday that he has done his best with the Pharaohs as he compiled a team that can compete in the coming championships.

"We have a definite target with Egypt national team in training players to be fit for the coming 2014 World Cup qualifiers," Bradley told a press conference in Cairo Stadium after the team's training sessions on Saturday.

"We struggled to name players for Oman friendly as their teams are still preparing for the coming season," he added.

Early this week, Egypt FA have denied all reports suggesting the Pharaohs’ coach Bob Bradley will be sacked confirming that the latter will remain at his post till the end of his contract in 2014.

"The technical staff don't pay attention to rumours that the Egypt FA decided to axe them or not," the 54-year-old tactician announced.

"The players' lack of fitness was the reason for our elimination from the CAN 2013."

"We hope the Egyptian domestic league will be back again soon as it will help the players return to their previous superb form."
