The 23-year-old came off the bench in the 82nd minute to score the only goal for Wydad in their 2-1 loss, jthree minutes later.
Bouhra's goal kept Wydad's hopes of retaining their African title alive, as they now need a 1-0 victory in the second leg at home in Casablanca on Sunday to win the title.
"I am so proud and happy after scoring my goal against Ahly," Bouhra told Moroccan newspaper Mountakhab on Tuesday.
"This goal is the most important in my career so far. My goal kept our hopes alive of winning the Champions League title, and if we manage to win the title, it will be the most precious goal ever in my career."
Wydad, who are bidding for their fourth Champions League title and the second in a row, will host Ahly in the second leg of the competition’s final on Sunday.
However, Ahly will be looking for a record of 11th Champions League title.
