Gold prices

The price of 24-carat gold stabilized at EGP 2,662.75 per gram.

The price of 21-carat gold kept its Wednesday’s level at EGP 2,330.

The price of 18-carat gold maintained Wednesday’s level at EGP 1,997.25 per gram.

The price of a gold pound didn’t witness any change on Thursday and stabilized at EGP 18,640.

Stock market 

EGX30 rose 1 percent and closed at 17,521.36 points.

EGX70 inched slightly higher rising 0.12 percent and closed at 3,652.5 points.

EGX100 rose 0.3 percent to 5,333.34 points.

Market cap ended at around EGP 1.137 trillion, up by around EGP 8 billion from Wednesday's EGP 1.129 trillion.

Top gainer was Rakta Paper Manufacturing rising 9.72 percent and closing at EGP 12.42.

Top loser was Medical Packaging Company falling by 10.74 percent and closing at EGP 0.740.

Currencies

The official market's buying price for the dollar is EGP 30.84, and the selling price is EGP 30.96, with no fluctuations.

The euro rose slightly to EGP 33.03 for buying and EGP 33.17 for selling.

The Saudi riyal's buying price stands at EGP 8.22, and the selling price at EGP 8.26, with no major changes.
