Nigerian striker Sodiq Awujoola in the 5th minute and Mostafa Saad in the 41st minute score the hosts goal while Ahmed Amin scored Enppi's consolation goal in the 16th minute.

The victory takes Smouha to 39 points in 10th place, while ENPPI remain in seventh place with 42 points ahead of the final round.

With only one round of matches remaining, NBE Club and Talae El-Geish, who each have 36 points, need only a point to secure their survival. However, Aswan, Ghazl El-Mahalla, and Dakhleya face an anxious wait to see if they can avoid relegation.

The relegation battle is set to go down to the wire, with all three teams still in contention for the final two spots in the bottom three.

Dakhleya are currently in the relegation zone in 17th place, with 32 points. They will face Aswan, who are in the 15th place with 33 points, in the final round. Ghazl El-Mahalla, who are in 16th place with 33 points, will play already-relegated side Haras El-Hodoud.

In case of equal points between two or more teams the tie will be broken through the head-to-head record then goal difference. The away goal rule does not apply in the Egyptian Premier League.
