Stay hydrated! Another sizzling week ahead in Egypt

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced Saturday that the heatwave which swept across the country and the globe for the past several days would stay with us for another week.

According to the EMA, the felt temperature across the country will increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius due to direct contact and high humidity.

Drivers: Be cautious of early morning mist on roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, the North Coast, Suez Canal cities, and Central Sinai.

Temperatures

 

The temperatures in the Greater Cairo area and the Nile Delta are expected to be 36-37 degrees Celsius until Friday.

On the North Coast, the weather will be relatively cooler, with highs of 32-34 degrees Celsius.

However, in South Sinai, the temperatures will soar, reaching highs of 40-42 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, in Northern Upper Egypt, the temperatures will reach highs of 41-42 degrees Celsius.

Finally, the deep south will experience the highest temperatures of the week, reaching 44-45 degrees Celsius.
