Egyptian Cabinet launches new English-language mobile application
The mobile app is intended to facilitate communication between the government and citizens, while also addressing the international community, explained the Cabinet’s spokesman Nader Saad as per the statement.
Osama El-Gohary, the Chairman of the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) said that the app will particularly focus on providing news about Egypt’s economy and investment market.
Recently in mid-May this year, the Cabinet launched an English-language version of its official website to expand its global outreach.
An overview of the Cabinet app
The app provides easy access to news from the Cabinet, government meetings, and local and international economic indicators.
The app also has a section highlighting the government’s policies and information with sub-sections for Egypt's 2030 vision, state ownership policy, government action plan, and annual government report.
A special section about Egypt’s Golden License is also available. It provides essential information about the license and how to obtain it, as well as the requirements and steps for submitting documents and monitoring one’s application online.
Egypt’s Golden License system was launched in late 2022 and allows investors to purchase or lease land and overseas projects without requiring approval from various government entities.
The application is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
The Cabinet's IDSC also has an Arabic mobile app providing government reports, news, and other publications.
