The humidity will increase the felt temperature by approximately 2-3 degrees Celsius, they continued.
Sunday will be exceptionally hot in the north of the country. Things will be a bit cooler starting Monday, but do not get your hopes up too much, it will still be hot and humid.
Fog is expected on the roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Suez Canal cities, and central Sinai.
Despite the scorching weather, the country will see windy weather in different regions throughout the week, including South Sinai, Greater Cairo, and Northern Upper Egypt.
On Sunday, strong winds across South Sinai, Greater Cairo, and Northern Upper Egypt will bring dusty weather down to southern regions of the country including Halayeb, Shalateen, Aswan, and the New Valley.
Additionally, these four governorates will also see intermittent light thunderstorms.
Strong winds will continue in Greater Cairo through Tuesday, and in South Sinai through Friday.
Finally, the North Coast will see strong winds on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Temperatures
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will see a high of 39 degrees on Sunday and 34-36 degrees Monday through Friday.
The North Coast will see a high of 35 degrees on Sunday and 31-32 degrees Monday through Friday
Northern Upper Egypt will experience a high of 43 degrees on Sunday and 38-41 degrees Monday through Friday.
Southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 43-45 degrees Sunday through Friday.
South Sinai will experience highs of 39-41 degrees Sunday through Friday.
