This weekend began on Thursday with performances by Medhat Saleh and Reham Abdel-Hakim. The spotlight on Friday belonged to the legendary Mohamed Mounir and Hamid El-Shaeri. Saturday featured Tamer Ashour and the Lebanese star, Elissa.
The prior weekend saw Lebanese stars Nancy Ajram and Ragheb Alama as well as Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad.
Next weekend will feature a number of big concerts, including one for iconic composer Omar Khairat on Thursday 10 August.
The festival promises a star-studded line-up of musicians, including Hakim, Angham and Cairokee, in addition to American rapper Russ, among other performances.
Stretching from 13 July to the beginning of September, the New Alamein Entertainment Festival has been an extraordinary celebration of music, culture, shopping, and sports.
Situated about 100 km west of Alexandria, the coastal Mediterranean city is accessible through the Alamein International Airport, just 30 km away, while Borg El-Arab International Airport, situated west of Alexandria, is a mere 75-minute drive from New Alamein.
