Any good news?
Yes! Much of the country is getting a reprieve from the 40-degree Celsius and very humid weather that refused to leave us for more than two weeks now.
Temperatures are expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius in Cairo and across the northern regions of the country over the weekend.
Increased wind activity will also make for pleasant evenings.
However, Luxor and Aswan in upper Egypt and South Sinai will continue to experience extremely hot weather.
