Mohamed converted a penalty in the 13th minute to give Nantes the lead, but Zakaria Aboukhlal equalized for Toulouse in the 62nd minute. Rasmus Nicolaisen then scored the winning goal in the first minute of stoppage time to give Toulouse the victory.
The former Zamalek striker started the game and was only substituted in the 89th minute in a tactical substitution as coach Pierre Aristouy wanted to give more protection to his defence.
The 26-year-old Mohamed made a big impact with Nantes last season, finishing as the team's top scorer with 11 goals and five assists. After his successful season-long loan, Nantes made his transfer permanent, signing him from Galatasaray with a deal that runs until 2027.
