The Pharaohs will face Ethiopia on 8 September in a Nations Cup qualifier, before taking on Tunisia in a friendly four days later.
Egypt have already secured their place in the next year’s Africa Cup of Nations after leading their group with 12 points, three points ahead of second-placed Guinea, who secured the group's second qualifying ticket.
Mohamed Salah headlined the list of players called up for the two games, while Tarek Hamed also returned after recovering from injury.
Meanwhile, Ipswich Town midfielder Sam Morsy returned to the Egypt squad for the first time since 2018.
The list saw the absence of Trabzonspor winger Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan who was dropped from the squad due to a rib injury.
Four Ahly players feature in the squad despite the club’s request to exempt their players from the Pharaohs's camp as the Red Devils are preparing the African Super Cup against USM Alger which will take place in Saudi Arabia on 15 September.
