However, Salah has conditioned his move on the approval of Liverpool management and coach Jurgen Klopp, setting the stage for a potentially significant transfer.

The new report adds fuel to the ongoing speculation surrounding the potential transfer of the Egyptian superstar to Saudi Ittihad Jeddah, despite Klopp's firm denial of any such move.

According to the Saudi newspaper, "Salah has announced his final decision to join Ittihad Jeddah this season."

The report added: "Salah has made it clear that he will not agree to terminate his contract with Liverpool and trigger the payout clause without the agreement of Liverpool management."

Ariyadhiah report highlighted Liverpool management's eagerness to receive a substantial offer from Ittihad Jeddah, following Salah's confirmation, before the closure of the summer transfer market in England on Thursday.

It is believed that the 31-year-old star has garnered significant interest from Ittihad Jeddah, who are reportedly prepared to offer him a record-breaking salary, potentially making him the world's highest-paid player.

Should the move materialize, Salah, who still has two years remaining in his contract with Liverpool, would find himself playing alongside former Real Madrid French star Karim Benzema, who joined the Saudi side two months ago.

Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah, a two-time African Player of the Year, has been an integral part of the team's lineup. He has made a total of 307 appearances, including 220 games in the English Premier League.

Salah played a key role in Liverpool's recent successes, aiding the team in securing the UEFA Champions League title in the 2018/19 season, the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.

During his time at Liverpool, Salah has also accumulated numerous individual accolades, including the FIFA Puskás Award in 2018, the Footballer of the Year Award in 2018 and 2022, and the English Premier League top scorer award from 2018 to 2022.

Liverpool, who finished fifth in the English Premier League last season, had high hopes that Salah's contributions would propel them to better results this year.

On the other hand, Ittihad Jeddah, the reigning Saudi Pro League champions, currently sit atop the league table with a flawless nine points from three games played thus far in the season.
