Humidity will increase the felt temperature across the country over the weekend, before declining in the following days.
The daytime high in Cairo will feel like 40 degrees Celsius on Friday, up from 38 and 39 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.
The North Coast will reach a felt high of up to 39 degrees before cooling down to 34 degrees on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in South Sinai, which is home to Sharm El-Sheikh, the felt temperature will rise to 45 degrees.
Upper Egypt, especially Luxor and Aswan in the south, will continue to endure sizzling heat. Residents and visitors are advised to seek shade and stay hydrated, as felt daytime temperatures may hit as high as 46 degrees.
On Tuesday night, areas between northern Egypt and northern Upper Egypt will experience moderate weather while South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt will experience warm weather.
The EMA also expects a slight chances of light rain in areas in Matrouh governorate on Tuesday.
