Marat Gatin, director of the Russian Cultural Centres in Egypt, opened the exhibition in the presence of Helmy El-Namnam, former minister of culture, and Sherif Gad, head of the Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities, responsible for the cultural activity at the Russian Centre.
Gatin pointed to the role of youth in strengthening cultural relations between the two countries in light of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Russia.
Harmony gallery, headed by artist Heba Aref, showcased artworks by a group of children on different folk costumes of the peoples of the world. The children drew the folk costumes and a large number of them wore the costumes of the country they chose.
El-Namnam praised the role of the Russian Cultural Centre in supporting cultural relations between the two countries, referring to the role the Russian Centre plays in Egypt's cultural life.
