100 Healthy Days Campaign provides over 31 million free services to citizens in 82 days

Over 31 million medical services were provided to citizens nationwide as part of the 100 Healthy Days Campaign since its launch in June, the Ministry of Health and Population announced.

According to the Minister of Health Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, a total of 31,238,993 medical services have been provided between 25 June and 14 September.

The campaign provides a range of services through different presidential initiatives under the umbrella of the 100 Million Healthy Lives initiative.

It provides these services free of charge to all residents, including both citizens and foreigners.

Those wishing to take advantage of the initiative before it ends can contact the ministry through their hotline at 15335 to find their nearest health centre.

The total number includes:

  • 10,565,019 children received routine immunizations

  • 5,340,763 individuals benefited from family planning clinics

  • 5,053,697 home visits in rural areas

  • 3,942,243 people received awareness and health education services in public areas, clubs, and malls

  • 2,808,232 people received services for early detection and treatment of chronic diseases and kidney disorders

  • 2,367,859 people conducted intermittent and recurrent medical visits

  • 1,171,960 people were surveyed to screen for cancer (prostate, colon, lung, and cervical cancer)

  • 926,928 people received services to support women’s health

  • 798,677 people visited medical caravans

  • 407,141 people received services related to early detection and treatment of hearing impairment in newborns

  • 385,688 people received services related to health screenings for prospective marriage partners

  • 216,356 people received services related to maternal and fetal health

  • 189,738 people received mental health services, including emergency services, psychiatric treatment, addiction treatment for adults and adolescents, rehabilitation, psychological support, complaint handling, and answers to inquiries

  • 139,150 people benefited from the initiative to eliminate waiting lists and issue treatment decisions
