The 30-year-old midfielder departed Ahly's U-21 team in 2015 to join Greek side Panetolikos.
Throughout his career, he has played for various Greek clubs, including PAOK, Atromitos, Larisa, and Volos.
In the summer of 2021, Warda moved to the Cyprus League, where he featured for Anorthosis and Apol.
Notably, Warda had a brief stint with Moroccan side Raja, but the contract was terminated at the player's request just two weeks after his signing.
Throughout his career, Warda has faced multiple controversies at club level as well as the Pharaohs.
Warda, who made 30 appearances for the Egyptian national team, last played for the national side in July 2019.
He came on as a late substitute in Egypt's 1-0 loss to South Africa in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16.
