The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates from December 24 to 29.
The winner will get $250 thousand and a gold medal. The runner-up will get $125 thousand and a silver medal. The third-place holder will get $75 thousand and a bronze medal. The fourth-place holder will get $50 thousand as a participation bonus.
The tournament is a new system of the Egyptian Super Cup. It is sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and United Sports Company in Egypt for four years.
The teams are Ahly, the league champion and the old Super Cup holder, Pyramids, the league runner-up, Ceramica Cleopatra, the League Cup champion, and the Egypt Cup champion, which is not decided yet.
The tournament will be played in a knockout format.
