"If the attacks of the Zionist regime (Israel) against the defenseless citizens and people of Gaza continue, no one can guarantee the control of the situation and the non-expansion of the conflicts," Iran's foreign ministry quoted Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as saying during his meeting with Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
Lebanon's Iran-backed Hezbollah movement said on Friday it would be "fully prepared" to join the Palestinian Hamas group in its attack on Israel when the time is right.
"We, as Hezbollah, are contributing to the confrontation and will (continue) to contribute to it within our vision and plan," Hezbollah deputy chief Naim Qassem told a pro-Palestinian rally in Beirut's southern suburbs.
"We are fully prepared, and when the time comes for action, we will take it," he said.
On Sunday, Hezbollah launched a missile strike on Israel as a retaliatory action following the deaths of a journalist and two civilians in the recent Israeli bombardment of southern Lebanon.
