Abu Ubaida stated that Hamas currently detains non-Israeli prisoners, and they are prepared to release them as soon as the circumstances permit.
He disclosed that the Al-Qassam Brigades alone are holding approximately 200 prisoners, with additional detainees scattered among different Palestinian resistance groups, bringing the total number to an estimated 250 or more.
Abu Ubaida added that 22 captives have lost their lives thus far.
Regarding detainees of various nationalities, Abu Ubaida conveyed that the Al-Qassam Brigades consider them as their guests and pledged to release them as soon as field conditions permit.
He also called on nations around the world not to enlist their citizens in the ranks of the enemy's army, stressing that any combatant will be treated as a direct enemy and considered a Zionist.
