Safadi has instructed the relevant department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to convey to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs that their ambassador, who had previously left Jordan, should not be reinstated.

In a statement, Safadi emphasized that the return of ambassadors will be conditional on Israel's cessation of hostilities in Gaza, putting an end to the humanitarian crisis it has triggered, and discontinuing actions that hinder Palestinians' access to essential provisions such as food, water, and medicine, as well as their right to live securely on their native land.

Safadi also underscored Jordan's commitment to continued efforts to resolve the Gaza conflict, deliver humanitarian aid, protect civilians, and prevent the wider region from suffering the disastrous consequences of the ongoing conflict.

He reiterated the significance of a comprehensive and equitable peace solution based on the two-state framework, involving the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital along the pre-1967 borders.

This solution is regarded as the sole means to guarantee the security of all people and nations in the region.
