Amr Diab, the globally acclaimed, World Music Awards winner and Guinness World Record holder, will be performing for the first time at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
"Get your dancing shoes on and sing along to El-Hadaba, with the all-time bestselling Middle Eastern artist brought to you by none other than Artist House," reads the promotional statement on the Coca-Cola Arena's website.
The concert comes after Diab postponed its original date "due to the unfortunate events in Gaza," read the statement released on X. He added "Our hearts go out to the people of Palestine, and we stand with them during these challenging times."
Diab has yet to announce the new concert on his personal social media accounts.
Over one month of Israeli airstrikes against Palestinians in Gaza have left more than 10,000 dead and even more injured.
The UN rights chief described the past month as a period of 'carnage, bloodshed, and suffering' for Palestinians.
Diab has also announced he will make a special donation to support the Palestinian people through the Egyptian Red Crescent Foundation. The donation is estimated at EGP five million ($161,000).
Diab is by far the most successful singer of his generation. The 62-year-old megastar remains among the most-listened-to artists on streaming platforms while his live concerts are attended by thousands.
In his decades-long career, the singer has released more than 30 albums and garnered countless regional and international accolades.
