The first plane carried 39 tons of relief aid, including food and shelter materials.
The second one carried two ambulances out of twenty scheduled to arrive successively, in preparation for transporting them to the affected Palestinian people inside the Gaza Strip, according to the SPA.
The assistance is part of the fundraising campaign launched by the kingdom to help the people of Gaza.
Egypt has designated North Sinai's El-Arish International Airport for receiving international humanitarian assistance bound for Gaza.
El-Arish city, the capital of North Sinai, is located about 50km west of the Rafah border crossing, the only crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.
The stores of relief aid in El-Arish city for supporting the Gaza Strip are about to run out, and the number of aid supplies received by the ERC is small, said Rami Al-Nazer, ERC’s executive director, on Thursday.
So far, Egypt has provided 10,200 tons of aid, while international organizations have contributed 8,800 tons, according to the Egyptian government.
