“These joint efforts resulted in the timely commencement of the ceasefire, successfully overcoming obstacles encountered on Saturday, and the resumption of its full implementation, as agreed upon by both the Palestinian and Israeli sides,” Rashwan said.

Rashwan revealed that Egypt received on Sunday the list of captives in Gaza, including 13 Israelis, and the list of Palestinians scheduled for release from Israeli prisons, comprising 39 Palestinians.

According to Al-Qahera News, the release of American detainees held by the factions is expected in this third batch.

The exchange between the two sides is set to take place on Sunday.

Rashwan also indicated that the medical aid delivered to Gaza until 25 November in the evening amounted to 2,675 tons, food aid reached 9,621 tons, and water supplies totaled 7,047 tons. Additionally, 82 tents and tarpaulins were provided, along with 1,992 tons of other relief materials.

He highlighted that 788 tons of fuel were delivered by Saturday evening and a total of 2,056 trucks crossed from the Rafah crossing to Gaza during this period.

Rashwan noted that, during this period, Egypt received 353 injured individuals from Gaza, accompanied by 292 people. Moreover, 8,514 individuals with foreign nationalities, spouses of dual citizenship, and 1,256 Egyptians crossed from the Rafah crossing.

On Sunday, 120 trucks have already entered, including 2 fuel and 2 household cooking gas trucks, heading to northern Gaza in coordination with the UN and the Palestinian Red Crescent. These numbers are subject to increase in the coming hours.

On the other hand, Egypt, Qatar, and the US are engaging in intensive talks to extend the Humanitarian truce in Gaza, an informed Egyptian source told Al-Qahera News on Sunday.

According to the informed source, the coordination and joint efforts between Egypt and Qatar have successfully facilitated the completion of the prisoner exchange process and the continuation of the humanitarian truce.

The source mentioned Egypt's appreciation for Qatar's efforts in executing the second phase of the humanitarian truce.

On Saturday, Rashwan said that Egypt was communicating intensively with all parties to extend the four-day truce between the Palestinian and Israeli sides for one or two additional days.
