Bureau Veritas affirmed that Nilesat complies with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The latest certification is the result of the company’s efforts to modernize and develop its technical and administrative capabilities, said Nilesat Chairman and CEO Sameh Katta.

The acknowledgment arrives several months following the company's acquisition of the tier four World Teleport Association certificate, the association’s highest classification of service quality.

Nilesat was established in 1996 and is owned primarily by the Egyptian Radio and Television Union. It is responsible for operating multiple satellites and hosts 1,091 video channels.
