The launch event will be attended by CAF President Patrice Motsepe and senior executives and chairpersons from various African football clubs, according to the CAF official website.
The ACA's objectives include protecting and promoting the interests of African football clubs; ensuring their commercial viability and global competitiveness; developing youth talent and academies; and building partnerships with sponsors, the private sector, and governments to improve football infrastructure and facilities across the continent.
The ACA also seeks to ensure that referees, match commissioners, and VAR operators are respected, credible, independent, and world-class; and to foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the African football scene.
The ACA was formed after a kick-off meeting between African clubs and Motsepe on 5 October, where he briefed them about the plans for the new association.
The CAF has been headquartered in the Greater Cairo area since 2002.
