WE also announced that its customers would be compensated with an additional 10 GB on all internet packages, expressing its apologies for this disruption.

Late Tuesday, home internet service was disrupted in some areas across the country.

Telecom Egypt is the largest internet provider of fixed-line services in the Middle East and Africa.

In August 2023, Egypt had 11.7 million ADSL subscriptions, 2 million USB Modem users, and 69.7 mobile internet users, according to the figures of Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
