Since the war began, Israel has been targeting the Gaza Strip with an air and ground campaign that reduced large parts of the north of the territory to rubble and killed nearly 18,205 people.
The Palestinian health ministry said that 70% of the dead are women and children.
Some 49,645 people have been wounded, ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said in a statement.
